Sandstorm76 wrote:The tank was easy to fit to be honest. Took about 4 hours, taking my time. The only issue I had was that my handbrake cable felt tight afterwards and was making a noise when driving so I had to loosen that a bit. Today I drove until my fuel light started flashing. I filled up at a nearby fuel station and had 10 litres left in the tank. So all good. Paid $1095 from Off Road Mega Stores, Perth.

About to damage the bank a/c & spend some $$ on my new MQ.
With your Ultimate Susp, how has it been now that it's settled and done few KLM ?
Also, was your setup selected by Ultimate as being for comfort/towing or beach/off road etc.
Cheers, Ray

how did you fix the batterybox to the ute/uteliner? I'm thinking of a very similar setup, maybe in the back left hand side corner and wondered how best to keep it there in place..

If you have other equip to secure down and can't do as Sandstorm76 did, or can't access underneath tub eg; fuel tank etc...use rivet nuts.
These can be installed from up top after drilling a hole and come in several sizes from 3mm upwards to suit various material thickness.....ideal for easy removal and reinstalling temporary equip as needed
