Heater not working

Postby Greedy on Sat Jul 06, 2024 4:27 pm

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with the heater not working in their MR Triton. Its the dual temperature selection. It used to work but now nothing - just blowing out cold air. Not good in winter and our son is taking it to the snow next week which won't be ideal. We have checked the level of coolant.

If anyone has any ideas - please let us know.

Thanks
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal labotomy!

It ain't pretty being easy!!

If the coolant level is ok, and both heater hoses are getting hot, It is likely something has jammed a distribution flap in the box. This is not a common failure though. Have you dropped something into the heater outlet by mistake?

DDDJ, do the flaps get operated by vacuum or electric servos?

Maybe a hose or connector has come adrift. Hi
Don't let the b'strds get you down!!
