Hi everyone,
I often to trips away (Such as Fraser) where i would like to have extra fuel capacity, I've been looking at the Brown Davis replacement tank, and I've noticed that most other vehicles seem to have Auxiliary tanks as an option (Pajero Sport lets you fit a 140+ Litre Auxilary tank, Pajero 70+ litre Auxilary tank, Landcruiser 200 180L auxilary tank.
My question is has anyone tried fitting a 70-80L Poly slimeline fuel tank to a Triton MQ with a Tub-tray. After having a brief look under the tray i'm unsure if it would fit under the tray (pushed as far forwards on the tray as possible). This option seems far cheaper at $370-$450 as opposed to being quoted in excess of $1300 for a long range replacement tank to be fitted.

Also, does anyone have any ideas regarding the fuel filler, is it possible to buy a "dual" filler that could be fitted into the filler neck of a tub tray setup? There wouldn't be enough room between the cab and the front of the tray to fit a aftermarket filler like others do.
Thanks in advance for any opinions/ideas.
