It's actually 100,000km or 3 years. If you read the fine print on their website (despite saying 5 years at the top of the page) it says 3 years further down, then you need to present your vehicle to mitsubishi within 6 months of the end of the 3 year warranty to have your vehicle validated for an extra 2 years of "extended warranty"... That wasn't my understanding when I bought my vehicle but hopefully I'll never have to make a claim! Seems like a way to invalidate your warranty short at the 3 year mark!pyrah wrote:now 100,000 kms or 5 years think before was 130,000 or 5 years
After initial 3 years from the date of first registration, if the vehicle has not exceeded 100,000 km, we will extend the initial warranty for an additional 2 years or until the vehicle has travelled 100,000 km. We call this "Extended warranty"
To qualify for the extended warranty, simply complete the extended warranty registration validation (you’ll find it in the service and warranty booklet) and bring it along with your vehicle to your local Mitsubishi genuine service centre. This must be done during the final 6 months of the initial warranty.
